Educational Background and Work Experience
• Bachelor's Degree and Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
5-7 years of direct taxation experience (preferably in Big 4s or manufacturing organization's)
• Have good technical knowledge and understanding of direct tax provisions
• Reasonable understanding of financial statements and its interpretations

Roles & Responsibilities
Assisting in the direct tax compliances, including compliance of TDS provisions, monthly TDS payments, tax accounting entries, filing of quarterly TDS/TCS returns
Preparing tax audit report, computation of income and return of income of Indian companies
Work on advance tax / final tax liability for Indian companies on a monthly/quarterly and yearly basis Evaluating TDS implications on foreign payments
considering India tax provisions and DTAAS
Preparing submissions for tax office representations
Working in collaboration with tax consultants in case of complex issues and accordingly providing information to consultants and resolving their queries
Working in collaboration with plants/locations team to gather information/documents and seek clarification
Studying and implementing new tax provisions
Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the team members of the business and functional teams, and external service providers
Any other direct tax related compliances as may be required
