Production Engineering focuses on design and facilities for smart development of manufacturing of vehicles. It's role includes designing of processes to convert raw material to finished product as per the drawing, process feasibility analysis using simulation software, AR/VR, preparing plant layouts, selection of equipment/supplier, installation & trials etc.
Competencies/Skills
Knowledgeable in tooling, press dies & molding process/cycle, Press Die design, Mold design and manufacturing
Know-how of Press Die design, specific knowledge of Tool & Die Engineering subjects like Press Die Design, Mold Design and manufacturing, Engineering drawing, Machine Design, Material etc.
Know-how of materials used in press Dies and Molds (Steel and Casting)
Know-how of CAD software (Preferred UG-NX)
Awareness of Tool manufacturing process (like Casting, machining, Fitting, Assembly and Trial etc)
Good know-how of MS Office (Excel, power Point, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams etc)
Good written and verbal communication

Eligibility Criteria
Degree: B.Tech, B.E/M. Tech, M.E, Post Graduate Diploma (Regular/Full time only)
Passing year batch: 2025/2026 only
Eligible branches: Tool & Die, Tool Design, Mould design, CAD/CAM
Percentage/CGPA: >=65% or equivalent CGPA upto B.Tech.
60% or equivalent CGPA in M.Tech/PGD (for PGET candidates)
College/University must be AICTE/UGC approved
Exclusions
Candidates with Part time/corresponding qualification/open school/distance learning education
Candidates who completed PGD courses with less than 1.5 years duration
Candidates with active back logs
