Job Title: Sr. Engineer - Process Engineering
Location: Noida

Reports To: Lead Process Engineer/Project Engineering Manager
Job Summary:
GAS LAB Asia seeks a detail-oriented Process Engineer to develop process engineering deliverables, support manufacturing, ensure smooth commissioning of our facilities, and actively participate in design reviews and HAZOP studies. You will play a critical role in translating client requirements into functional designs, preparing technical calculations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project and safety success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process Design and Documentation
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping, instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's), equipment datasheets, and other process engineering deliverables
• Prepare detailed process calculations (e.g., sizing, heat & material balances, hydraulics)
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and client specifications
• Actively coordinate and participate in HAZOP studies, providing process expertise and identifying potential hazards.
Update necessary process documentation to support HAZOP discussions
Client Interface and Technical
• Interact with clients to clarify technical queries and resolve engineering issues, if any.
Coordinate and participate in technical discussions and formal design reviews such as P&ID and 3D model reviews.
Manufacturing and Commissioning Support
• Collaborate with fabrication and commissioning teams to address technical challenges.
Knowledge Sharing and Process Improvement
• Update process design templates, calculation sheets, and standard procedures on Daily / Weekly Basis
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements
Data Tracking and Reporting
• Establish and maintain systems for consistent gathering of high-quality data to calculate Key Result (KR) metrics
• Regularly prepare and present KR reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to track progress against objectives
Qualifications & Skills:
Education
• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related discipline.
Experience
4+ years of experience in process engineering within the EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar sectors.
Required Skill Sets
Understanding of process equipment design and operation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, ChemCAD).
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective coordination.
